Slow draining sink or shower
The earliest sign, and the cheapest moment to deal with it. Usually grease, soap or hair within a few metres of the outlet.
High-pressure jetting, rodding and camera inspection for kitchen, bathroom and main sewer lines. We clear it, then tell you what caused it so you are not phoning us again in a month.
Send it through and you'll have a call back — usually inside the hour.
A blockage rarely appears overnight. Catching it early is a quick clear; leaving it is an excavation.

Run the basin and hear the shower gurgle? Air is being pushed back through the system. The blockage is further down the line.
Waste sitting in the line rather than moving through it. Often the last warning before it backs up entirely.
Flush the toilet and water rises in the shower — that is a main line blockage, not a local one. Stop using water and call.
Soggy lawn or paving on a dry week can mean a cracked or collapsed pipe underground.
Recurring blockages in the same place almost always mean tree roots or a damaged section. Clearing it again will not fix it.
Any of these and it's worth a call. Costs you nothing to have us look.
Call 075 014 4354Shop-bought drain chemicals are the worst thing you can pour down a blocked line. They rarely shift a solid blockage, and the heat they generate can soften or warp PVC pipework — turning a R900 clear into a pipe replacement.
We use mechanical rodding for straightforward blockages and high-pressure jetting for grease, sludge and root intrusion. Where a blockage keeps returning, a camera inspection tells us exactly what is down there and where.
| Rodding | Electro-mechanical drain machines for sinks, showers, baths and floor gullies. |
|---|---|
| High-pressure jetting | Cuts through built-up grease, sludge and invasive tree roots in main lines. |
| CCTV inspection | Camera survey to locate a break, collapse or root intrusion precisely, so nobody digs up the wrong three metres. |
| Pipe repair | Excavation and replacement where a line has cracked, crushed or collapsed beyond clearing. |
If waste is backing up into the house, stop running water anywhere on the property — including washing machines and dishwashers — until we arrive.
No queue, no "someone will be in touch". Here's the clock from the moment you dial.
A plumber picks up. Not a receptionist reading a script, not a callback form.
Before we've even left, you'll be talked through which valve to close. That part is free.
Typically inside the hour anywhere in Sandton, Randburg, Fourways and surrounds.
You see the problem, you hear the price, you say go. What you're quoted is what you pay.
Not an emergency? Same process — we'll book you a slot that suits you, usually the same or next day.
Book a time that suits you
Prime Flow is small on purpose. The person who answers your call is the person who arrives at your gate — so nothing gets lost between the booking and the job.
A fixed number, agreed before anything is opened up. No "while we were in there".
If the same fault comes back inside the guarantee period, we return at no charge.
Geyser installs, COCs and certificates handled properly — the paperwork your insurer asks for.
Floors covered, mess taken with us. You shouldn't be able to tell we were there.
You don't pay for us to come and look. You pay for work you've agreed to.
Managing units? We deal with tenants directly, send one invoice, and keep you posted.
Geysers, drains, leaks and installations — the day-to-day of keeping houses running.
Geyser burst just after 9pm and the ceiling was already sagging. Called Prime Flow expecting a voicemail — someone answered, told me exactly which valve to close, and was at the house within the hour.
Two other plumbers wanted to lift my bathroom tiles to find a leak. Prime Flow traced it in about twenty minutes without breaking a single one. Quoted before starting and charged exactly that.
I manage a block of rentals and I've been through a lot of contractors. This is the first one where the tenants stopped phoning me to complain. On time, tidy, invoice comes through the same week.
Blocked main sewer line on a Sunday morning. Cleared it, then showed me the root that caused it and what to do about the tree. That's the bit other plumbers never bother with.
The emergency line is answered around the clock — weekends, public holidays, 2am — and it costs you nothing to get us out there. Close your main stopcock, then call.

We stay inside a tight radius on purpose — it's the only way to keep the 60-minute promise honest. Tap your suburb and we'll start your quote.
Just outside the list? Call anyway — if we can't get there fast enough to be useful, we'll say so.
We strongly advise against them. They are usually ineffective against solid blockages and generate enough heat to warp or damage PVC pipework and older plumbing. They also make the line dangerous for whoever opens it next.
Yes. For a recurring or deep blockage we run a CCTV camera down the line, which shows the exact location and nature of the problem — grease, roots, a collapse or a foreign object.
Almost always tree roots finding a cracked joint, or a section of pipe that has sagged or partially collapsed. Clearing it will keep working for a few weeks at a time until the pipe itself is dealt with.
Both. Kitchen, bathroom and laundry lines inside, and main sewer runs and gullies outside, up to the municipal connection.
No. We put down protection before we start, and the work area is cleaned and sanitised before we leave. That is not an extra, it is part of the job.
It depends on where the blockage is and what caused it, which is why we come out and look for free. You get a fixed price before any work starts.
